Meet Kendel Froese

Hi! I’m Kendel and I help people plan for their eventual passing so they can live a thriving life without fear of how their family will get by when they pass away.

I know what it feels like to have that nagging question in the back of your mind: “What will happen to my family when I die? Will they be taken care of?” I am passionate about working with clients to answer that question, putting their minds at ease so they can live in the moment and thrive every day without this worry hanging over them. I also know that people work hard for the assets they have and I want to walk alongside you in making sure those assets are protected and distributed in a way that aligns with your values. I approach estate planning from a holistic perspective, and I promise to take the time to understand you, your values, and your unique family situation so I can craft your estate planning documents in a way that brings all those areas together and gives voice to your values.

A little about me: I was born and raised in Spokane, Washington. I graduated from Whitworth University with an undergraduate degree in Political Studies. My first career was as a professional fundraiser for various nonprofits, and during this time I also pursued my passion for sexual assault advocacy by volunteering with local organizations. In 2015, my husband and I moved to Seattle where I attended law school at the University of Washington. We had our first child during my third year of law school, and after the bar exam my family moved back to Spokane, where my husband and I opened a restaurant and had another child.

I am an active participant in the legal profession. I am a member of the:

  • Spokane County Bar Association;

    • SCBA Elder, Disability, and Estate Planning Section (I serve as President Elect);

  • National and Washington Associations of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA and WAELA); and

  • Spokane Estate Planning Council.

Outside of work, I love going for walks with my husband and our two kids, practicing hot yoga, baking and occasionally cooking (here’s my go-to sweet & sour sauce recipe), reading (currently A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman), and listening to podcasts (I’m a sucker for true crime and personal development shows).

I look forward to working with you!
